Tot-R-Us meets on a Wednesday morning from 10:15am – 12:00 noon in the church hall, Circular Road.
There are a variety of toys set out around the hall where children can enjoy free play. They have the opportunity to participate in the activity for that morning, such as baking, drawing, junk art, painting or craft and are also provided with a snack of juice and toast. In ‘mat time’ the children and adults are encouraged to come together on the mat for stories and singing time.
But ‘Tot-R-Us’ isn’t just about the children!! The parents/carers have the opportunity to chat to others through the morning in an informal setting and also enjoy a cup of tea/coffee.
At times we enjoy a special event e.g. breakfast cooked for the mums/carers while the children are cared for in a separate hall, a trip to the fire station/library/the indoor adventure play area or a teddy bears’ picnic!
‘Tots-R-Us’ is free of charge. There is a box available for those who wish to donate towards the running costs.
